I can barely remember back to this morning. Oh, yes: early minyan, followed by coffee and visit with a fine person, then home to continue trying to make some sort of order, then preparing my class for tonight.
We spoke about Tzedakah---the word often mistranslated as charity that actually means justice. We continued the discusssion as we sat around the dining room table and made our own tzedakah boxes from cocoa and tea containers I had saved for years, decorating them with collage of beautiful varied handmade paper.
I am convinced it was our fertile discussion that brought the beautiful and fragrant rain as we were ending.
