This has been one of those days in which I tumble from one doing to the next, non-stop, except for a few minutes at the Farmer's Market and a walk around Viele Lake. The trees have been trimmed, dead branches trimmed and removed, juniper cut back. It feels like the grounds around the house have gotten their semi-yearly haircut. The invasive weedy grasses have taken over the back yard, and the dandelions and the burdock and thistles. Also some wildflowers, and volunteer ornamental strawberries. Garlic and horseradish are hiding in a corner behind the apple tree.
The cats sleep calmly no matter what, as I do the requisite due diligence on line to continue trying to counteract the villainy that is overtaking our country.
(Prrr. Prrrr. No matter what.)
I need to collect what is left of my wits and go to bed early, hoping to make it to morning minyan and to a car-recall repair.
Some stretching and breathing slowly...
