...and I am still up because Thanksgiving dinner with friends stimulated thought.
(And also because I had started making hummus from scratch, and had to finish when I returned.  The secret of good texture is you have to take the skin off of every little cooked chickpea...)

This morning's minyan was rich and full, on a beautiful day.  I was aware of so much for which I am grateful. That was followed, of course, by all that worries and concerns me now:  everything from the changes that are poised to happen in our country to the fires now in Israel.

The only things I can think of doing---besides the daily signing of petitions and the regular donating---are intense prayer, and learning to listen better/learning what to ask.
